Princess Peach from Super Mario Bros

My Celshaded Princess Peach cosplay is definitely one of the most detailed cosplays I’ve ever done. The dress had countless layers that I covered in intricate celshaded details. I also had to incorporate a magnet onto both the wig and crown, so it can easily be removed when travelling. This was my first time ever wearing a hoop skirt. Although this was difficult to navigate at first (toilet trips?!) I quickly got used to it.

The wig is once again by the amazingly talented DrawiingDreamer. She spent a crazy amount of hours into my Princess Peach wig, making sure the front was a solid base for me to hand paint the celshaded details onto.

I had a lot of fun turning Princess Peach into a celshaded, Borderlands inspired character. I personally think this style strong suits the Super Mario universe. Bright cartoon characters definitely tend to work best.
