Jinx

My celshaded Jinx cosplay from Arcane was what really kickstarted my journey into fully celshaded cosplays! Before Jinx, I was only doing celshaded cosplays occasionally, mainly Borderlands characters.

In my opinion, Jinx is a great character to put your own twist on. She’s a crazy, colourful character, making her perfect for some creative flair! As I’m sure you’ve seen, Jinx has been included in many people’s mashup cosplays, particularly mixed with Rumi from Kpop Demon Hunters in recent years. Jinx is like the new Hatsune Miku… every Jinx cosplay is canon!

My celshaded Jinx cosplay was particularly popular at Megacon Birmingham in 2025, as well as on TikTok, with my most popular Jinx video receiving a whopping 1.9 million views!

The Jinx wig was made by the very talented Drawiing Dreamer. The Jinx wig was then celshaded by me, using acrylic paint. I know I should’ve airbrushed it, instead of using acrylic paint… but clearly I was a rebel on this occasion!

Despite doing many more celshaded cosplays since, my celshaded Jinx cosplay continues to be one of my most popular ones. I think a big reason for this is my consistent message of body positivity. Jinx is known for having a very malnourished body type, making it hard for cosplayers to nail that ‘accuracy’. Despite being a plus sized cosplayer, I’ve never let that stop me from cosplaying Jinx! Because cosplay is for everyone. Never let anyone stop you from cosplaying a character that you love, and means a lot to you!

Vi

I decided to cosplay Vi from Arcane shortly after doing my celshaded Jinx cosplay. I really enjoy the juxtaposition between these two characters. With Jinx being more energetic and crazy, and Vi being more level headed and strong. It allows me to really change the way I act in each cosplay. Vi is particularly fun, as she’s such a powerful character.

My Vi wig was made by the amazing Drawiing Dreamer, and then celshaded by me! This wig might be one of my favourites. Particularly because it’s so easy to travel with and it never loses it’s shape.

My celshaded Vi cosplay has travelled to a few different Comic Cons. These include Megacon (in both Manchester and Birmingham) as well as Rakucon.
